I have Lived in Dubai for nearly 8 years now and love a little getaway (well who doesn’t?) So I thought I would compile a list of the top places I have been and also the top places I still want to go and share with you the most romantic hotels in Dubai. Trust me I am very through in my research when it comes to stayvactions so im sure this is a great list.

Tried and Tested

The below hotels I have been lucky enough to stay at so the below is based on personal experience

1. Al Maha

Has to be up their in terms of one of the best hotels I have stayed in. A beautiful resort located on a lush palm oasis, in the middle of Dubai’s sprawling desert landscape, staying at Al Maha Desert Resort and Spa is truly a one-of-its-kind experience. Enclosed within the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve, Al Maha offers an unmatched sense of adventure, a rustic, authentic Bedouin experience, exciting wildlife drives, sensual rooms with private pools, overlooking the rolling desert dunes – just what you need for a getaway with your lover! Giving visitors a first-hand feel of the culture and heritage of the Bedouins, all suites are adorned with authentic Arabic antiques, artefacts and furnishings.

2. Dubai Desert Palm

Desert Palm Dubai is located 20 minutes from Dubai Mall and Downtown Burj Dubai and short 15-minute drive from Dubai International airport but you will fill a million miles away from the hustle and bustle of Dubai.  The resort is small and intimate with lots of activities to do together – take long walks, bike trips, tennis, squash, horse ridding lessons, enjoy one of many spa treatments, watch the polo and sunset with a glass of Champagne or dinner in one of their signature dining options – there is aa choice of secret locations throughout the estate which includes your own personal chef and waiter.

This hotel has it all, luxury, privacy, large rooms with ALL the mod cons, service that is second to non, top quality restaurants and bars, fabulous grounds including the infinity pools, prettiness beaches and amazing views, I could go on but i’m sure you get the idea – I mean its the Four Seasons, that kinda says it all!

Meaning “Gateway to the sun” in Arabic, the five star Bab Al Shams Resort & Spa feels like a magical paradise with its dream-like setting amidst the gentle dunes and the natural desert landscape. Designed in the theme of a fortified, rural Arab village, this low-rise resort gives its guests a traditional desert experience and an unforgettable glimpse into the ancient culture and heritage of Dubai and the UAE. Apart from the jaw-dropping ambiance, the resort bowls you over with its seamless facilities, tranquil water fountains, lush, manicured lawns, shaded courtyards, exciting on-site activities like falconry and archery, top-notch restaurants, a rejuvenating spa, and more! With its rustic, old-world charm, Bab Al Shams is for sure one of the most sought after romantic hotels in Dubai.

On the bucket list

On my bucket list I have the below hotels that I would love to stay in before I leave Dubai (when ever that might be!)

5. The One & Only

I would settle for either one but I guess the one located on the sandy shores of The Palm takes the crown. I think this has to be one of Dubai’s most romantic and secluded beachfront resorts. Adorned with gorgeous Arabesque characteristics, this modern, exclusive retreat has something for every discerning taste. All set among calming gardens and sparkling seas, choose from the One&Only’s Manor House, Palm Beach Mansions and Beachfront Villas for an unforgettable getaway where romance and adventure meet

6. Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort

If you’ve been a fan of Thai hospitality, this urban escape tucked away on the East crescent of the Palm Jumeirah won’t disappoint. The beachside resort offers beach pool villas, as well as lagoon access rooms. Make it a special getaway by booking yourself (and your plus one) in the over water villas (it’s the only place you will get them in the UAE).

7. Any one fo the hotels in the Madinat Jumeirah

Romantic spirits rejoice, there’s a new chic resort that brings together lush greenery and golden beaches in a serene, minimalist sanctuary. Indulge yourself at the Talise Spa, visit the turtle lagoon or relax in the hotel’s adult-only pool. For a special treat, book Al Naseem’s Royal Suite, an expansive space of two large bedrooms, a beautiful living room, a cinema, a gym and sprawling landscaped gardens. It’s resort romance at its most enticing. Try some of the property’s uber popular dining spots like Black Tap, Katsuya or Rockfish for a truly memorable night out.

  • Al Qasr
  • Dar Al Masyaf
  • Burj Al Arab
