To mark the opening of its first store outside of the UK, Fortnum’s created a special blend exclusively for Dubai; The Dubai Blend. Crafted by its celebrated Tea Masters, the Dubai Tea blend is a modern, luxurious twist on Dubai’s traditional “chai nana”.

It combines the clean, fresh flavour of pure, torn peppermint leaves with crisp green tea and sweet, delicately aromatic rose petals, with very specific amounts of each flavouring mixed to perfectly reflect Middle Eastern flavours.

Fortnum & Mason was instrumental in making tea the great British drink that is it today and was one of the first major tea importers in the days when tea-drinking was confined to the aristocracy. Three centuries later, Fortnum’s now offers more varieties from more countries than ever, and its most celebrated blends of Fortnum’s fine teas have gained world renown over generations.

Fortnum’s range of teas includes black, green, fruit flavoured and herbal teas, each made with the finest teas selected from the leading tea gardens of the world. The company has produced unique blends for many special occasions, including its own 25th and 300th anniversaries, for the Silver, Gold, and Diamond Jubilees of Her Majesty the Queen and for royal weddings. Fortnum’s smoky earl grey tea was created at the express wish of Buckingham Palace.

Since its foundation in Piccadilly in 1707 Fortnum & Mason has been at the heart of London life, supplying the very finest goods and services. From the Food Halls at street level to the Diamond Jubilee Tea Salon on the Fourth Floor, it is filled with unique and exceptional food and gifts. Known for its exquisite and impeccable service and surroundings, the Fortnum’s experience is one of pleasure, where nothing is too much trouble. In November 2013 Fortnum & Mason opened its second UK store in 308 years at London’s St. Pancras International Station, and in March 2014, its first standalone store outside the UK in Dubai. Both stores offer an edit of Fortnum & Mason products, as well as all day dining options. On November 18 2014, Fortnum & Mason opened its first standalone airport store at Heathrow Terminal 5.
