Taking your Yoga and Pilates practice off the mat and into the air, Aerial Yoga/Pilates uses hanging silk hammocks to support the weight of the body allowing students to achieve proper postural alignment through relaxation rather than effort. This class will help improve your floor asana by making challenging traditional Yoga postures such as inversions and deep backbends achievable without effort and without strain. Deep muscle releases achieved in the air allow students to explore much deeper stretches in their traditional postures on the floor. Experience weightless inversions that will allow gentle traction of the spine and reverse the effects of gravity on the body.
