Whether travelling with family or exploring alone, Dubai is packed with things to do. Travellers of all ages flock to this oasis in the desert to take in its dramatic cityscape, world famous shopping malls and fascinating old city.
Dubai’s favourite attractions
One of Dubai’s newest and best-loved attractions is the Dubai Mall. Here, designer boutiques sit alongside a huge indoor aquarium and children’s entertainment area so there’s plenty of things to do for all the family. Next door, the world’s tallest building, the Burj Khalifa offers spectacular panoramic views of Dubai from its observation deck.
Dubai might dazzle with its modern exterior, but the buildings of Old Dubai in the Bastakiya district are just as impressive. Dubai Museum offers some fascinating insight into life in the emirate before its development, while the city’s traditional souks are a great place to find a bargain at its 300 jewellery stalls.
Outdoor pursuits in Dubai
Venture outdoors and find exciting things to do in Dubai. Wild Wadi welcomes families throughout the year to its maze of water slides and pools, while desert safaris are the perfect way to explore Dubai’s surrounding landscape. And with so much beautiful coast in and around Dubai, there’s no better place to sunbathe or go diving in the region.
