When you go inside the restaurant you have this amazing seating/waiting area. From walking into the Mekong, the level of service was fantastic, from the greeting through service to finally leaving thoroughly satisfied

For deserts we moved into the bar area. The quality of the food was excellent and the service provided by Jaijai explaining some of the choices was brilliant.

And the elephant again!

Overall

We absolutely loved the food at Mekong and really pleased to find another great Asian restaurant in Dubai.

Its menu ranges way beyond the standard Thai eatery, offering bold, authentic Thai flavors. If you love Thai food, this is the place to go. If you don’t get Thai food, this is the place to go. You owe yourself a short trip on the 7 subway to this humble, great restaurant.

A nice added bonus is that the rice is included with each main dish and you were served as much/little as you felt like. The black rice which had a nutty texture complimented the mains fabulously and I would go back just for that.

Good selection of beers and wines to wash it down with and opted for a non Asian Margarita and a delicious mojito for an extra kick.

ne cannot review Mekong, without mentioning the beautiful setting and ambience of the restaurant which was exceptional adding to the overall experience!

Definitely one of the most reasonable and most delicious Thai/Vietnamese restaurants in Dubai.

Better to reserve. Restaurant was full.

If making a reservation for the first time I’d definitely recommend the wooden sofa/bench seats located in the middle of the restaurant!

We will be back!
